PROCESS ENGINEER

Position: Process Engineer

Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) with a minimum of 10 years and above of relevant experience.

Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemicals.
- 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering.
- Proficiency in process software such as HYSYS, PROII, Pipesim, Flarenet, etc.

Job Description:

- Conduct process simulations and optimization studies for selected projects, preparing Process Flow Schemes with heat and mass balances.

- Perform detailed process engineering work, generating deliverables throughout all design phases, including interpretation of standards.

- Review process design work conducted by third parties (vendors) and actively participate in HAZOPs, Safety, and Facility reviews and audits.

- Actively train and encourage the development of Omani staff to fulfill process and systems engineering roles.

- Understand the requirements of the office quality system and ensure compliance with these requirements.
