Product Engineer I - Raster & Imagery

Responsibilities

- Utilize domain expertise to contribute to the development of optimal solutions.
- Build, test, QA, and implement data conversion workflows.
- Test various data processing workflows and methodologies.
- Research and apply cutting-edge methods and technologies in remote sensing.
- Understand, create, and articulate new products developed through raster analysis.

Requirements

- 1+ years of experience in remote sensing and GIS.
- Familiarity with image services, mosaic datasets, and geoprocessing tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentations and collaboration across organizations.
- Proficiency in remote sensing science and algorithms for information extraction from imagery.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Bachelor's degree in remote sensing, GIS, or a related field.

Recommended Qualifications

- Experience with image processing and analysis.
- Knowledge of big data and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Amazon, Azure).
- 1+ years of experience with Python or other high-level languages.
- Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions.
- Master's degree in remote sensing, GIS, or a related field.
