Job Description: Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

- Conducting site visits and surveys to gather relevant data for quantity assessments.
- Analyzing project documents and specifications to understand the scope and requirements.
- Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Evaluating material, labor, and other costs to determine project expenses.
- Assisting in the preparation of tender documents and bid proposals.
- Reviewing and comparing supplier/subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness.
- Participating in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Monitoring project costs throughout the construction phase and identifying variations.
- Preparing regular reports on project costs, budget status, and potential risks.
- Conducting cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenses.
- Ensuring compliance with contract terms, specifications, and industry standards.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- UPDA certified with Grade A.
- Experience in consultancy is preferred.
- Previous experience working with the Public Works Authority (PWA) is advantageous.
