Executing its overseas strategy and speeding up its steps of ‘Going Out’, China Railway Group Limited (hereinafter referred as ‘CREC’), one of the Fortune 500 Global Companies and one of the world's Top 500 Prominent Brand Companies, established its new flagship subsidiary—China Railway International Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as ‘CRIG’) in November 2013. CRIG was integrated into a group company by restructuring of China Railway International Ltd, CREC Venezuela Company, CREC Oriental International Construction Corp., and CREC Laos Company, with a registered capital of one billion RMB (approximately 167 Million USD). Representing CREC, CRIG organizes and implements international economic corporations, international project contractor, investment and financing management in the international market. As a professional overseas economic cooperation company, CRIG bears the mission and duty to expand CREC’s overseas business. Our overall development objective is to be a competitive, study-oriented and efficient international contractor, focusing on core business development and diversified operation. CRIG’s business scope mainly covers EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), EPC+F (Financing), Export Credit, package loan for Resources Projects, bilateral & multilateral cooperation; franchising (BOT, PPP) and other overseas investment business. Playing the roles as planner, organizer, financier, designer and implementer, CRIG aims at developing itself into a strong international business player in the fields of construction contracting, EPC contracting and investment operations. Currently, CRIG owns 8 wholly-owned subsidiaries, 8 branch companies, 3 majorly-owned subsidiaries, and 9 overseas offices, covering many countries from Asia, Africa, Middle East, South America, Oceania and Central & Eastern Europe. CRIG is now executing and implementing projects in more than 17 countries and regions, such as Venezuela, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa, Nigeria, etc.
