Marketing Specialist

Job Description: Credit Control Manager Responsibilities: 1. Perform assigned duties in accordance with established policies and procedures to achieve department goals. 2. Provide ad-hoc reporting on client/customer Credits and Balances as requested by Management. 3. Maintain an organizational structure in all regions to meet department goals. 4. Prepare and submit the annual Credit Control Department Budget and plan for approval, implementing and controlling it to support overall strategic objectives. 5. Lead and manage credit controllers, collectors, and other department staff in the region to implement Credit Control policies and procedures. 6. Implement collection incentive plans to motivate collectors and enhance collections and revenue. 7. Drive evolution mechanisms and provide necessary training for the Credit Control unit. 8. Develop, implement, and monitor collection policies and procedures, making changes as needed in coordination with sales departments. 9. Prepare monthly reports of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Retentions for Divisions, highlighting amounts overdue for 360+ days. 10. Send Retentions Undue reports to division heads, identifying projects with no movement for a long time to be transferred to Retention Due. 11. Implement and maintain write-off procedures in coordination with division managers. 12. Implement and maintain AR and retention provision policies and procedures in accordance with IFRS9. 13. Maintain all related documents/agreements of customers with Credit Accounts. 14. Reconcile complex and problem accounts escalated from the sales and collection team. 15. Resolve internal and external queries regarding outstanding invoices related to problem projects. 16. Negotiate re-payment plans with delinquent accounts. 17. Communicate and report to the Legal Department on aging and problematic accounts. 18. Issue monthly reports of budgeted collections. 19. Issue weekly and monthly collection versus budgeted collection reports to Management and follow up. 20. Check and update status in the SIMAH online portal and use it to check customers’ credit ratings with banks or Credit Bureau. 21. Define and develop key performance indicators, analyze and interpret financial and operational performance, and track key operational objectives and strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability. 22. Improve payment collection by communicating with past-due clients on payment status. 23. Perform any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct manager.
