Job Title: HR Generalist
Job Description:
HR Generalists possess comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions, spanning from the recruitment and onboarding of employees to managing compensation, benefits, and performance evaluations. As an HR Generalist, your role will encompass a diverse range of HR responsibilities, including organizing training sessions, overseeing employee benefits and leave administration, and crafting HR policies. You will leverage Human Resources Information Systems to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR matters.
The primary objective is to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the HR department to provide maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Responsibilities:
Administer compensation and benefit plans.
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Conduct employee onboarding and coordinate training and development initiatives.
Offer support to employees on various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any arising issues.
Promote HR programs to foster an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Contribute to the development and implementation of human resource policies.
Manage tasks related to performance management.
Collect and analyze data, including valuable HR metrics like time-to-hire and employee turnover rates.
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formats.
Enhance job satisfaction by promptly addressing issues, introducing new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Team-oriented with a results-driven approach.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
Additional HR training is a plus.
