Job Description

Position: IT Technical Support Engineer


- Provide on-site technical support to users in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot various IT equipment including desktops, laptops, Outlook, printers, routers, and basic network functions.
- Perform cabling, cable tracing, patching, and crimping tasks as needed.
- Utilize expertise in Firewalls, Windows servers, CCTV, PABX, NAS to enhance support capabilities.
- Respond promptly to clients' IT support requests and maintain effective communication throughout the resolution process.
- Update the helpdesk ticketing system with accurate and timely information, ensuring thorough documentation of all support activities.
- Collaborate with the remote support team to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless support delivery.
- Monitor ongoing jobs and support incidents, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare BOQ/SOW and reports after site visits, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
- Foster positive client relations and uphold a high level of client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Contribute to enhancing the company's reputation by consistently delivering quality, on-time support and services.
- Coordinate timely invoicing to clients in collaboration with the sales and finance department.

- Excellent phone and email communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to new environments and willingness to travel as required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support position, with demonstrated proficiency in desktop/laptop support, email/outlook support, basic network support, cabling, patching, network tracing & crimping, helpdesk ticketing & reporting.
- Excellent professional demeanor and presentable appearance.
