Workshop Planner

Job Title: Workshop Planner

Key Responsibilities:

1. Allocate jobs to technicians based on the correct category required to perform the task.
2. Monitor the technician planning board and Job Progress Control Board as per the monthly roster, escalating any concerns to the workshop manager.
3. Ensure accurate and fair distribution of jobs to achieve technicians’ utilization and efficiency targets.
4. Ensure the Fix It Right (FIR) Process is followed to achieve FIR targets.
5. Ensure that jobs allocated are closed as per the schedule.
6. Monitor and maintain adherence to the time clocking process, escalating as required.
7. Provide regular updates on vehicle progress to the Service Advisor to ensure on-time delivery.

Required Skills for Success:

1. Experience in allocating jobs to technicians based on the correct category required for the task.
2. Ability to write technical reports.
3. Strong communication skills.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
2. Diagnostic Technician or Equivalent.
3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. UAE driving license will be an advantage.
