Job Opportunity: Senior Architect / Design Lead

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Architect / Design Lead to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in leading the design development task for various projects, collaborating with other disciplines' engineers, and ensuring the successful execution of design projects. The focus will be on projects related to hospitals, hotels, malls, and other high-profile developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design development task for design projects in collaboration with other discipline engineers.
2. Conduct coordination workshops internally with stakeholders and externally with consultants and contractors.
3. Design and review architectural and engineering design documents, including drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
4. Ensure compliance with government regulations, authorities' requirements, and internal and external stakeholders' specifications.
5. Supervise the work of architects and draftsmen to ensure the delivery of high-quality design documents.
6. Provide guidance to contractors on technical and coordination issues and respond to technical clarifications.
7. Report work progress to project managers on a daily and weekly basis.
8. Conduct site visits and quality audits on architectural construction activities (25% of working time).
9. Collaborate with internal and external teams to interpret stakeholders' requirements and implement them in the design and contractors' scope of work.
10. Work on other tasks assigned by management as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience.
- Immediate availability or short notice period.
- Experience in hospitals, hotels, malls, and other high-profile projects.
- Design review experience is advantageous.
- Local experience in Jordan is preferred.
