Job Description: Ticketing Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ticketing Specialist with extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling all ticket requests, reservations, and customer inquiries, utilizing the Amadeus system for issuing, reissuing, and refunding airline tickets.

Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage all ticket requests and reservations.

- Issue, reissue, and refund airline tickets using the Amadeus system.

- Handle customer inquiries from initiation to resolution.

- Interact with clients through various communication channels, including phone and email.

- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

- Manage ticketing deadlines and canceled itineraries.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline rules, policies, ADM’s, and penalties.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.

- Proficiency in Amadeus, both basic and advanced functionalities.

- Excellent skills in issuing, reissuing, and refunding tickets via Amadeus.

- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.

- Proficient in written and spoken English.

- Exceptional communication skills.

- Accuracy and punctuality are paramount.
