Job Title: Bus Driver

Roles & Responsibilities

- Safely operate a heavy bus and transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections, reporting any defects or issues.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols while on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior, including regular cleaning and sanitization.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to scheduling, route changes, and maintenance.
- Monitor and report any unusual passenger behavior or safety hazards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues.
- Physical ability to operate a heavy bus and assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.
