Based in the Binance global brand creative team, the Design Lead will be accountable for the control, creation, and delivery of world-class creativity for Binance. The purpose of this role is to help execute the Binance brand vision and provide design management for BAU (business as usual), brand, and product campaigns. An experienced creative, who can take the overall creative direction and help bring it to life through working with designers, editors, and animators, overseeing and managing day-to-day creative work, brand and product campaigns, global, local, external vendor collaborations, motion, partnerships. Partner with other Business Units to lead briefs and projects from a creative point of view. This is an exciting, dynamic, and varied Senior Design Management role focused on the development and delivery of brilliant brand creativity to support achievement of annual sales, customer growth, and overall business goals. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Head of Design will lead by example, direct and control a multi-skilled team of designers, motion graphic artists, and creators to deliver all creative requirements for Binance globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Binance Design Management and Delivery:

- Working for the Global Creative Director to contribute to the development of the Brand and creative strategy for Binance Design, covering design, motion design, some art direction, campaigns, partnerships, email, social media, digital advertising, events, and customer communications.
- Ensure that the strategy is clearly documented and communicated to the design team.
- Control the timely delivery of creative design in line with business goals and brand objectives, ensuring best-in-class creative at all times.
- Ensure that the team delivers compelling and differentiating 'on brand' creative for daily, weekly, and seasonal brand, tactical, and partnership campaigns, ensuring that they reflect the Binance brand style and tone and support business goals.

Creative Operations & Finance:

- Define and control 'creative team' processes, ensuring that they are efficient and integrated.
- Report, control, and monitor the Creative Design budget.
- Collaborate with the Brand Design Lead to produce best-in-class style guides and requirements for branding, design, photography, motion, illustration.

Team and Relationship Management:

- Manage on a day-to-day basis the designers and freelance design resources.
- Set performance objectives for the designers and perform performance reviews in line with business timelines.
- Develop the designers, identifying development needs and training opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with other teams and business functions.

Requirements:

- Experienced Design professional with qualifications in graphic design, branding, and digital design.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing a creative team of designers, creatives, content creators.
- Experience of development, objective setting, and performance management.
- Experience of working within a global business.
- Experience working within a design team for a fast-paced, high-volume online business, delivering high-quality creative assets.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Experience of the end-to-end design process from concept, UI, HTML, and build.
- Basic understanding and familiarity with HTML and digital web design tools (Figma).
- A creative thinker and idea generator with a strong creative eye.
- A passion and understanding of branding and design.
- Great team player with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Numerate.
- Experience in managing third-party agencies to deliver results.
- Solid project management skills with a positive influential personality.
- Experience working with task management tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Asana, etc.
