Position: Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance team's activities in the ice cream and baking industry. Your duties will include:

Supervising the maintenance team to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on all machinery and equipment.

Creating and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Managing the inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring their availability and proper storage.

Identifying and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

Training and developing maintenance technicians, ensuring their strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Collaborating with production and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations and high product quality.

Monitoring equipment performance, analyzing data, and making recommendations for improvements.

Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation, including work orders, equipment manuals, and safety guidelines.

Staying up-to-date with technological advancements and industry best practices in maintenance and repair.

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in the ice cream and baking industry.

Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills.

Familiarity with automation control systems, especially Siemens and Allen Bradley.

Experience with machinery such as flow pack wrapping machines, extruders, ice cream filling machines, ice cream molding lines, and continuous freezers.

A team player with the ability to effectively manage a team of technicians.

Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
