Job Description: Guest Service Ambassador
Job Description:
1. Guest Interaction:
- Offer a warm welcome to all guests, ensuring they enjoy a stay with the finest personal service.
- Personally greet and escort guests, prioritizing personalized interactions over directing them.
- Respect guest privacy and maintain the confidentiality of information.
2. Complaint Management:
- Manage guest complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Record and report incidents.
- Seek advice from supervisors or managers in serious cases or when approval is required.
3. Communication and Reporting:
- Share daily activity highlights with supervisors and managers, providing insights into internal and external guest opportunities.
- Be aware of and report all guest comments or complaints promptly.
- Stay informed about VIPs visiting or staying at the hotel.
4. Cashier Procedures:
- Conduct proper cashier closure procedures and ensure a complete handover between shifts.
- Adhere to financial and audit procedures, including awareness of forged currency and traveller's checks.
5. Operational Tasks:
- Check departure lists, ensuring check-out times are respected.
- Utilize all equipment and the Fidelio management system with proficiency.
- Strictly adhere to room keys and section keys handover procedures.
- Follow daily checklists for operational tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of guest service experience in a 5-star hotel.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of front office applications.
