Job Description: In-Room Dining (IRD) Order Taker
Responsibilities:
1. Order Processing:
- Receive, process, and accurately input in-room dining orders with attention to detail and a thorough understanding of guest preferences.
- Possess extensive knowledge of the in-room dining menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, to assist guests in making informed choices.
2. Guest Interaction:
- Interact with guests professionally and courteously, addressing inquiries, providing menu recommendations, and ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
- Recommend additional menu items or specials, enhancing the guest experience and contributing to revenue generation.
3. Coordination and Quality Checks:
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and service staff to coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of in-room dining orders.
- Monitor the status of orders, providing guests with updates on delivery times and ensuring seamless service.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all orders meet established standards in presentation and taste.
4. Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
- Generate detailed reports on in-room dining order metrics, guest feedback, and other relevant data for continuous improvement and operational analysis.

Qualifications:
- Experience/Certificates/Education:
- Previous experience as an Order Taker or in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel setting.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
