Job Description: IT & Events Coordinator
Overview of Duties:
- Behave and act in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset, and assist the IT Manager at all times.
- Provide assistance to the IT Manager in setting up the Pullman co-meeting "connectivity" promise for all events.
- Monitor technological developments, stay up-to-date with innovations, and make relevant suggestions.
- Ensure best practices are followed concerning all IT, Telecoms & Audio-Visual equipment.
- Apply the brand's quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Customer Relations:
- Ensure all necessary arrangements and setups are in working order for events and functions.
- Intervene in case of problems before or during events, being reactive and proposing solutions.
- Contribute to individual guest satisfaction by ensuring the technical team has the skills to resolve simple and recurrent problems.
Professional Techniques / Production:
- Assist the IT manager in monitoring technological developments and the latest progress.
- Help prepare "connectivity" specifications for meetings as sold.
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of technical IT, telecoms, and audiovisual equipment.
Team Management and Cross-Departmental Responsibilities:
- Form a duo with the IT Manager and the Event Manager.
- Establish a strong functional link with all hotel departments.
- Act as a Supervisor for any external staff brought in for events.
Commercial / Sales:
- Assist the IT Manager and the Events Manager in promoting the Meeting offer by providing high-quality services and making proactive suggestions that may help draw up proposals in advance of an event.
Management and Administration:
- Contribute to the development of Events revenue by proposing additional and new technological solutions.
Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment:
- Ensure all equipment is duly respected and complies with safety norms and conformity regulations.
- Keep the workplace clean and tidy.
- Apply hotel safety regulations (fire hazards, etc.).
- Respect the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (energy saving, recycling, waste sorting, etc.).
Qualifications:
- A new service attitude centered on proximity, sociability, and sharing experiences.
- Ensure all staff embody the same mindset by developing each individual's sense of curiosity, open-mindedness, interpersonal skills, and a sense of initiative.
