Position: BMS Technician

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced BMS Technician to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a BMS Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS) within both commercial and residential settings. Collaborating closely with our engineering team, you will ensure the seamless operation of BMS and provide invaluable technical support to our clients.


1. Installation, Programming, and Commissioning: Deploy your expertise to install, program, and commission BMS equipment, encompassing controllers, sensors, actuators, and software.

2. Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of BMS equipment to guarantee optimal performance, promptly identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions.

3. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Utilize your troubleshooting skills to diagnose problems within BMS systems, addressing wiring, programming, and communication issues and implementing effective solutions.

4. Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, customizing BMS programming to meet their unique needs.

5. Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding BMS operation and functionality.

6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed on BMS systems.

7. Continuous Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BMS technology, ensuring the highest level of service and expertise.

8. Optimization and Efficiency: Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for system optimization and implement energy efficiency improvements.

Skills - Preferred Candidate:

1. Experience: A minimum of 1-5 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of Building Management Systems.

2. Education: Technical diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

3. Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in BMS equipment, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and software.

4. Programming Skills: Proficient in programming BMS systems using industry-standard protocols.

5. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

7. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

8. Detail Orientation: Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

9. Software Proficiency: Proficient in BMS software programming.

10. Technical Literacy: Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

11. Protocols: Familiarity with industry-standard protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.

12. Energy Management: Understanding of energy management principles and practices.
