Job Title: Life Support Instructor
Experience: 5 - 8 Years
Education: Bachelor of Science

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Life Support Instructor to conduct life support training programs in compliance with the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. The role involves instructing healthcare professionals in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), as well as First Aid CPR. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our resuscitation training program while fostering a high standard of practice across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Training Courses:
Deliver BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP, and First Aid CPR courses for healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to American Heart Association guidelines.

2. Standardization & Development:
Contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of the organization’s resuscitation policies, training methodologies, documentation, and auditing processes.

3. Code Blue Support:
Attend and support code blue events, providing expert advice and assistance to the resuscitation teams when available.

4. Training Records Maintenance:
Ensure all life support training records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards.

5. Operational Planning & Reporting:
Prepare and present operational reports, including annual statistics on cardiac arrest events, validation of arrest calls, and training attendance.

6. Collaborative Training Initiatives:
Work with other instructors and healthcare professionals to continuously improve the quality of training, incorporating bedside teaching and mock drills as necessary.

7. Relationship Building:
Foster a collaborative and motivating environment, maintaining strong working relationships to promote innovation and high standards in resuscitation practices.

8. Stay Informed:
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in resuscitation practices and adjust training programs accordingly.

9. Educational Support:
Assist and provide education on resuscitation-related courses and programs, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

10. Support Reporting:
Collaborate with the Manager of Life Support Training to compile and present annual reports for the Life Support Training Center.
