Job Description: Teller-Qatari Staff

Teller Operations:
As a Teller-Qatari Staff, you will be responsible for executing branch cash and other teller-related transactions in compliance with approved policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Your role includes balancing cash at the end of the day, submitting accurate end-of-day reports, and promptly resolving customer complaints related to teller transactions. Additionally, you will contribute to improving customer service levels by engaging in the resolution of common recurring customer problems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute branch cash and teller transactions in compliance with approved policies and regulatory guidelines.
2. Balance cash at the end of the day, ensuring conformity with the general ledger.
3. Submit accurate end-of-day reports.
4. Highlight instances of excess/short cash in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
5. Resolve teller transaction-related customer complaints in a timely and effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Directly engage in the resolution of common recurring customer problems, referring to internal stakeholders if necessary.
7. Report customer problems and suggest resolution to the Head Teller for assistance with unresolved issues.

1. Follow relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions for controlled and consistent work.
2. Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices.
3. Recommend improvements to departmental procedures and ensure their implementation.

Statements and Reports:
1. Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ and department requirements.

Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment:
1. Adhere to relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls.
