Job Title: Logistic Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the logistics department. This role involves planning shipments, tracking orders, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shipment Coordination:
- Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.

- Order Management:
- Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Update customers on shipment status and address any delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and returns.

- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet demand.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Work with the warehouse team to optimize storage and handling procedures.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Generate and analyze reports on shipping and inventory metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the logistics management system.

- Supplier and Customer Relations:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with carriers.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments and deliveries.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and import/export laws.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures for handling and transporting goods.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.


- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles.

- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
