Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise: Utilize experience and detailed knowledge of major mechanical equipment types in the Oil and Gas industry. Ensure compliance with relevant international codes and standards.

2. Input to Technical Work Practices: Provide input to the preparation of Technical Work Practices (TWPs) and Standards.

3. Project Support: Support planning, scheduling, and execution of discipline activities and deliverables, including manhour estimating and bid/tendering.

4. Team Competency: Ensure all team members are competency assessed and maintain competency in line with company and client requirements.

5. Vendor Management: Define minimum acceptance criteria and undertake pre-qualification of third parties. Define scope of work for third-party subcontracts as required.

6. Tender Preparation: Prepare Tender Bid Evaluations and assess bids. Review Vendor Documents on Detailed Engineering Projects.

7. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the site, including material inspection and Factory Acceptance Testing. Offer direction and guidance on technical queries relating to mechanical engineering.

8. Safety and Quality Assurance: Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary. Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.

9. Coordination: Coordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up to ensure no conflict within the overall engineering design.

10. Promote Safety: Promote safe behavior at all times among team members and stakeholders.

11. Knowledge Sharing: Ensure all lessons learned are captured and shared among the team.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Onshore/offshore experience is a must, with ADNOC experience desired.
- Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
