Network and Cyber Security Engineer

Position: Senior IT Systems & Network Engineer

Location: MEA region (on a project basis for Oil & Gas sector)

Experience: Minimum 8+ years

Certifications:
- Key certification requirement: ISA/IEC 62443 cyber security certification
- Preferably MCSE, VMWare & CCNA certified
- OT certifications such as IEC62443, GICSP will be an added advantage

Education: Full-time university degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Technical Experience:
1. Endpoint Protection:
- Trellix (formerly McAfee) ePO suite, ENS, & Application Control (Whitelisting)
- Symantec Endpoint Protection

2. Microsoft Platform:
- Active Directory Services, Group Policy, System Hardening
- WSUS patch management, Terminal Services

3. Backup & Recovery:
- Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec & SSR, Acronis, etc.
- Familiarity with bare metal backup & recovery
- SAN/NAS, LTO Tape library setup

4. Virtualization:
- VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, Shared Storage Services, high availability

5. Hardware:
- HP, Dell, SAN, Tape Library

6. Switching, Routing & Firewalls:
- Segmentation using Cisco Firepower, Juniper, Palo Alto & Fertigate Firewalls
- Cisco Switching and Routing experience
- Vulnerability Management

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Developing and managing Cyber Security Management Systems (CSMS) for ICS environment.
2. Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, IEC62443 Risk Assessment, and Vulnerability Assessments.
3. Writing policies and procedures for ICS Cyber Security.
4. Cyber Risk Assessment, Counter Measure Design, and Maintenance.
5. Cyber Architecture Reviews, Gap Assessments, Compliance Assessments, and Audits.
6. Work closely with the project team for smooth execution of projects and meeting project milestones.
7. Understand project and customer specifications and fulfill expectations within the stipulated timeline.
8. Design the system architecture based on YHQ guidelines and industry standards.
9. Participate in design review meetings with the customer.
10. Develop standardized method statements and implementation procedures for cybersecurity solutions.
11. Develop detailed test procedures and test plans for implemented cybersecurity solutions.
12. Perform pre-FAT audits on implemented solutions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
