Accountability Area: - Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based security. - Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses. - Demonstrate strong familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and cloud provider ecosystems like Amazon AWS. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures. - Possess robust microservices programming skills (AWS Lambda, Docker, etc.). - Architect, design, and program applications using high-level programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Visual Basic. - Architect highly available systems utilizing load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability. - Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate security into the development process, building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies like ansible, chef, puppet, docker, jenkins, etc. - Utilize AWS Cloud Services (EC2, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc.). - Understand complex enterprise environments and current technology areas like cloud and mobility. - Collect and report on Cyber Security operational metrics for application and infrastructure engineering teams. - Serve as a key technical security partner for engineering teams. - Coordinate with developers, cloud platform engineers, the business, and cloud service providers on security framework design requirements for cloud application services. - Research Cyber Security trends and emerging technologies, identify business and technical requirements, perform technical evaluation, and support deployment of Cyber Security solutions. - Utilize ISO27001 experience to assist clients in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their information assets by establishing a framework for identifying and managing information security risks. Requirements: Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant major such as Computer Science or Information Systems. - 10 - 15+ years of experience in security engineering, design, and implementation. - Thorough understanding of network defense technologies, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, network security monitoring tools, secure engineering principles, and technical security testing. - Proven work experience as a network security engineer or information security engineer. - Experience in creating and maintaining security systems. - Thorough understanding of the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols.
