Job Description: H&S Inspector

Position Overview: Our client in Qatar is currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety (H&S) Inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.

3. Collaborate with construction teams to develop safety protocols and strategies.

4. Provide training and guidance to workers on safety procedures.

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.

6. Prepare detailed reports on safety findings and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

7. Effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and produce clear and concise report documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant degree or diploma in a construction-related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience, including at least 2 years in the MENA region.

• NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory, while qualifications like CMIOSH, MIIRSM, and CSP are optional but advantageous.

• Participation in various health and safety-related courses is desirable.

• Previous experience as an H&S Officer during the FWC2022 would be a distinct advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in report writing.
