Job Summary:
As a Security Guard at Emirates British Nursery, you will supervise and oversee security functions within the premises. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day activities, directing security staff, conducting routine patrols, screening visitors, responding to alarms and distress calls, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and Health and Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise security staff, assigning tasks, appraising performance, and providing rewards or discipline as necessary.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises internally and externally, maintaining awareness of suspicious activity or hazards.
- Ensure all entry and exit points are secure during non-working hours to prevent unauthorized access.
- Screen all visitors and maintain a written record of entry/exit timings and contents.
- Interact with guests and employees in a professional manner, providing assistance as needed.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies according to established procedures.
- Develop and implement preventive measures against incidents and theft.
- Maintain information security standards throughout the premises.
- Receive and follow up on verbal and written reports from subordinates.
- Ensure compliance with security and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date access control records, restricting access to authorized areas only.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in security management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV monitoring.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Certification in security training or relevant courses is preferred.
