Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Financial Objectives:
- Communicate store targets to the team and drive sales to achieve financial objectives.
- Maintain proper loss prevention standards, ensuring compliance with cash handling, fraud prevention, and product theft.
2. Point of Sales Management:
- Oversee and monitor all point-of-sales activities, including sales transactions, order tracking, payment processing, inventory updates, service provision, and returns handling.
- Manage cash transactions, including petty cash and point-of-sales (POS) cash elements.
3. Store Administration and Customer Service:
- Regularly audit store administration, resolve issues, and assist in annual stock counts and spot checks.
- Handle customer complaints, taking corrective action in line with policies, and respond to feedback professionally and promptly.
4. Sales Performance and Inventory Management:
- Track and evaluate brand sales performance, researching market trends and competitor activities to identify critical business factors.
- Monitor and analyze sales reports, providing insights to maximize stock potential.
- Maintain accurate stock merchandise and management, considering stock aging, stock loss, and space management within the store.
5. Visual Merchandising and Store Maintenance:
- Maintain window and in-store displays to high standards following merchandising guidelines.
- Coordinate with the facilities department on repairs or replacements of furniture or equipment, supporting company maintenance standards.
6. Staffing and Training:
- Maintain staffing levels consistent with operational needs to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Prepare schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage.
- Ensure the team is adequately trained in inventory management techniques.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Industry expertise and product/category knowledge.
- Retail experience in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.
