About the Role: Visual Merchandiser
Responsibilities:
Visual Standards:
1. Implement and execute mannequin styling according to VP directives, reflecting current trends and showcasing innovation, detailing, and style.
2. Execute new seasonal VP directives and guidelines, effectively interpreting them for store requirements and implementing updates in line with the brand's vision.
3. Create wall and table visual displays with innovation and creativity, aligning with visual concepts.
4. Demonstrate product knowledge on key investments, best sellers, and seasonal key looks.
5. Manage POP (Point of Purchase) and mannequin displays, including base identification, storage, returns, requests, and care both pre-and post-campaigns.
6. Implement all visual processes and procedures to deliver best practices across all stores in the area of responsibility.
7. Support Back-of-House (BOH) management to enhance service on the sales floor, covering POP management, wardrobe imagery, and benefit sign management.
8. Make visual merchandising decisions based on business acumen and the performance of best sellers and departments.
9. Contribute to photo reports, work with Assistant Visual Merchandisers (AVMs) to create presentation reports, and maintain visual records of all visual merchandising updates and campaigns.
Support Marketing Initiatives:
1. Review the delivery of visual activities against schedules.
2. Manage and implement seasonal marketing updates, including wardrobe images and benefit signs.
3. Provide feedback to the line manager and local suppliers on the quality/content of visual material.
4. Manage marketing cart, visual merchandising costs, and props.
5. Execute campaigns/events, working alongside agencies to ensure best practices and correct implementation of campaigns based on experience and knowledge.
Self-Management:
1. Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure their achievement.
2. Take ownership of one's own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising in a relevant field.
This role emphasizes the strategic and creative aspects of visual merchandising, contributing significantly to the achievement of brand sales targets within GMG.
