Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

Job Description:
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in building highly scalable and robust backend applications and services. Collaborating closely with other engineers, you'll write high-quality, performant, and reliable code while working on defined tasks and bugs independently. Your responsibilities include understanding functional specifications, delivering complete features, and participating in the on-call rotation to resolve incidents within defined SLAs. Additionally, you'll contribute to team agile and engineering practices, fostering their continuous evolution.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team engineers to develop highly scalable and robust backend applications and services.
- Write high-quality, performant, and reliable code independently.
- Independently understand functional specifications and deliver complete features.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Contribute to team agile and engineering practices, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Working experience with at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, C++, Golang, or Kotlin.
- Working knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience with Java Spring, Golang, and Cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS.
- Experience with container technology including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems.
- Experience applying professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
