Laundry Attendant Job Description

Position Title: Laundry Attendant (MALE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an attentive and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to contribute to the efficient operation of our establishment and meet the needs of our customers. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for various tasks, including cleaning, pressing, and folding laundry, as well as maintaining laundry equipment and ensuring the cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Fold laundry with precision and attention to detail.

2. Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits.

3. Monitor and track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.

4. Maintain a clean and organized facility, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.

5. Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.

6. Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in handling laundry items.

Requirements and Skills:

1. Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role.

2. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.

3. Ability to stand for extended periods during work hours.

4. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

6. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
