Professional Job Description: Rental Sales Associate

Overview of the Role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Rental Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our rental services team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, managing rental agreements, and ensuring the efficient operations of our branch. The ideal candidate should excel in communication, uphold service standards, and contribute to the positive reputation of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Interaction:
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and handle inquiries or complaints via telephone or in person.
- Qualify customers for vehicle rental, assist in choosing suitable vehicles, and provide quotes.

2. Sales and Service Standards:
- Meet and exceed all sales and service standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Rental Agreement Preparation:
- Prepare rental agreements, advise on vehicles and optional extras according to customer needs.

4. Reservation Management:
- Assist customers in booking reservations, both at the counter and over the phone.

5. Communication of Policies:
- Communicate detailed rental contracts, policies, and procedures to customers.

6. Corporate Accounts:
- Create and manage corporate accounts leads to enhance business relationships.

7. Operational Management:
- Actively manage vehicle maintenance, inventory, cash sheets, and daily business reports.
- Process payments, including credit card transactions, using the computer system.

8. Vehicle Check-In/Out:
- Receive vehicles, check accessories, and process damage complaints.
- Check mileage and inspect for damage when vehicles are returned.

9. Branch Operations:
- Maintain readiness of branch operations, ensuring daily checks of vehicles and facilities.
- Liaise between branch and maintenance team for rental vehicle needs.

10. Customer Experience:
- Enhance customer experience by showing vehicles, explaining damages, and ensuring clean, fueled, and ready-to-use cars.

11. Record Keeping:
- Keep records of transactions, customer entries, and vehicle inventory.

12. Follow-up and Returns:
- Follow up with customers for timely vehicle returns, extensions, and payments.

13. Brand Image:
- Uphold the company image, customer service standards, and positive branding.

Skills - Required:

- Customer Services:
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

- English Language:
- Proficient in spoken and written English.

- Communication & Co-operation:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to cooperate effectively within a team.
