Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeping Associate
As a Housekeeping Associate at Accor, you play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional guest experience through sincere and warm service. Your commitment to service excellence contributes to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public areas.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
Planning & Organizing:
- Develop a cleaning schedule based on Room Status Sheet allocations.
- Maintain a neatly organized Housekeeping trolley, ensuring it is stocked daily.
- Possess strong knowledge of the local area to provide accurate directions and answer guest inquiries.
Operations:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of room-related services and products.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the Place of Work and surrounding areas.
- Monitor operating supplies to reduce spoilage, breakage, and wastage.
- Safely manage keys, report Lost & Found items, and provide detailed information to Team Leader/Asst. Manager Housekeeping.
- Utilize cleaning products economically and understand the proper use of Housekeeping tools.
- Adhere to resort standards for the safe positioning of cleaning trolleys in corridors.
- Clean all rooms, public areas, and offices in accordance with hotel standards.
- Implement safe lifting techniques and report any in-room safe issues promptly.
- Attend daily briefings and scheduled training sessions.
- Handle guest complaints by actively listening, taking notes, and reporting to Supervisors.
- Use guest names consistently and provide courteous and friendly service.
- Ensure efficient handover at the end of each shift to relay important information.
- Promote good inter-departmental relations and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Adhere to Accor policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
Qualifications:
Your experience and skills include:
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
