Job Title: Tailoring Technician

Key Result Responsibilities:

Task Review and Preparation:
1. Review assigned task cards with the Workshops Supervisor to understand the work, priorities, and documentation requirements.
2. Prepare and perform scheduled assigned task cards, ensuring the required documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are obtained.

Tailoring Repairs:
3. Carry out tailoring repairs as instructed by assigned task cards, following approved procedures and direction from the Workshops Supervisor/Engineer In-charge.
4. Ensure proper tooling/equipment is available for tasks, returning all in good condition after completion.

Safety and Human Factors:
5. Manage the safety of assigned maintenance tasks, following mandatory precautions and taking positive steps to protect oneself and others.
6. Pay attention to human factors aspects, ensuring work interruption procedures, adequate access, and lighting are used for maintenance and inspections.

Internal Customer Service:
7. Provide helpful information and support to the team and other department personnel involved in managing scheduled maintenance tasks.

Cost Awareness:
8. Maintain awareness of the cost of aircraft maintenance, minimizing unnecessary waste of consumable material and part repair costs.

Qualifications:
- Qualified and experienced Technician in the relevant workshop, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for technical communications.
- Ability to use corresponding tailoring machines and tools.
