Job Description: Stores Coordinator
Job Purpose:
To manage and control the Air Arabia "Stores," overseeing the receipt, storage, and release of all tools, equipment, and spare parts used for the maintenance of Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircraft. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory rules.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
1. Handle and maintain "Stores" stock levels for daily demanded items, including toolboxes, kits, spare parts, wheels, batteries, oils, etc.
2. Ensure timely availability of all items and components for planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, ensuring safe aircraft release.
3. Perform daily checks and inspections in storage areas to maintain correct conditions, including temperature, humidity, safety, and health.
Inventory Control:
4. Manage binning locations and allocation of tools and parts in the Company stores as per instructions from Technical Procurement and Supervisor.
5. Update and review the ICARUS "Inventory Control System" to record and monitor all activities related to received and stored parts, tools, and equipment.
6. Pre-load the system with requirements for ADD/MDD for timely retrieval.
Issuance and Tracking:
7. Issue daily toolboxes, kits, spare parts, and components based on maintenance plans for Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircraft routine jobs.
8. Maintain tracking records and receipts of all items delivered, ensuring adherence to adopted procedures.
Maintenance Support:
9. Provide ad-hoc inventory and stores support for both Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircraft as per procedures.
10. Ensure all tools and equipment used for maintenance are checked and kept serviceable; coordinate with vendors for repair when necessary.
11. Handle the return of unused parts to stock and ensure proper crediting in the stock system.
Reporting and Support:
12. Prepare regular stock reports, identify errors, determine causes, and implement corrective measures.
13. Assist the Stores Supervisor in implementing safety measures, maintaining facilities, cleanliness, and storage conditions.
14. Assist with logistics arrangements for parts delivery to and from the Air Arabia MRO, outstations, and aircraft.
Qualifications:
- High School/Diploma or certificate in a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) with a high level of accuracy.
- Very good command of the English language.
- UAE Driving License.
Work Experience:
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift pattern.
- 1-2 years of related working experience in a similar capacity within the airline industry, preferably with a low-cost airline.
- Working experience with inventory software is an advantage.
- Exposure to GCAA rules and regulations for tool acceptance, storage, and issuance.
- Knowledge and completion of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, internal and external audit checks.
- Proven skills in working with data and resources efficiently.
- Multi-task oriented with high attention to details.
- Physically fit and dynamic, capable of handling heavy equipment and moving between stores.
