Job Description

We are looking to hire an Experienced Pastry Chef for a Cake outlet in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.

• To qualify for this job, you should have 3 - 5 years of previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry.

• It is an immediate start. Because you will be representing the brand (Top-class Bakery/Cake Shop), you are expected to be sweet and courteous, approachable, and ready to help customers.

• Acknowledge customer's requests and can handle busy times efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, bread, etc.

• Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers. Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.

• Bake and decorate cakes for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and make appropriate orders within the budget.

• Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking. Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.-

• Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel. Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.

• Requirements Experience: 3 - 5 years in the Food & Beverage Industry.

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, baker, or relevant role. Great attention to detail and creativity. Organizing and leadership skills. Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.

• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques, and nutrition.

• Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten-free, sugarless, etc.).
