Physiotherapist (DOH / DHA / MOH)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a DOH, DHA, or MOH Registered Physiotherapist to join our client's Home Care team in Al Ain. Please find the duties, responsibilities, and requirements outlined below:

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Work with patients presenting a variety of conditions, including neurological, neurophysiological, cardiovascular, and respiratory, often over several weeks.

- Diagnose, assess, and treat patients' physical problems/conditions.

- Develop and review treatment programs utilizing a variety of techniques to promote exercise and movement.

- Involve parents and caregivers in patient treatment, review, and rehabilitation.

- Educate patients and their caregivers on preventing and improving conditions.

- Maintain patient case notes, write reports, and gather statistics.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, occupational therapists, and social workers, to exchange patient information and refer patients requiring additional medical attention.

- Stay updated on new techniques and technologies available for patient treatment.

- Supervise student and junior physiotherapists and support workers.

- Maintain legal responsibility and accountability for patient care.

- Demonstrate care, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions.

- Manage clinical risk effectively.

Requirements:

- DOH License, DHA License, or MOH License.

- 1-3 years of experience in home care is advantageous.

- Willingness to work in a home care setting.

- Good communication skills in English.

- Basic computer literacy preferred.
