Job Opportunity: Quay Side Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Quay Side Operations Coordinator to join our team. The primary role involves monitoring, controlling, and arranging yard equipment as per operational demand, supporting quay side operations during real-time activities with effective solutions, prioritizing safety, and ensuring compliance with terminal policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Ensure efficient and highly productive vessel planning while considering vessel stability and safety during load and discharge operations.
2. Prepare and execute crane split, discharge, and load sequences to achieve and sustain productivity targets per quay crane operation.
3. Maintain ownership of vessels under operations, assisting yard equipment controller and planner during planning disturbances.
4. Control the execution of the vessel operation plan, ensuring seamless communication with shipping lines for necessary information transfer.
5. Provide progress information about vessel operations to internal staff, vessel command, shipping lines, and agents.
6. Provide all required documents to the vessel command and execution team for timely document delivery.
7. Visit vessels upon completion to ensure the timely receipt of the final departure plan and related paperwork.
8. File and archive vessel planning-related documents following standard operating procedures.
9. Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.
10. Optimize quay and yard operations to achieve set KPIs.
11. Responsible for safety and discipline in the work area.
12. Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standards, Safe Work Practices, and HSE policy.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

- Experience in container terminal operations: 3 - 5 years.
- Understanding of vessel characteristics/dimensions and factors impacting vessel stability.
- Work experience in a container terminal operating system.
- Education: Diploma/Graduate.
- Excellent computer operating skills.
