Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Communications Specialist at Jordan River Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of JRF programs. If you have 5-7 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, and strong English and Arabic language skills, we encourage you to apply.

Core Responsibilities:

Communication Strategy:
1. Assist in developing and implementing the annual communications outreach plan.
2. Develop a social media plan for all JRF social media platforms.
3. Manage and create content for social media platforms.
4. Generate ideas for social media campaigns to highlight the impact of JRF programs.

Program Visibility:
1. Ensure visibility of programs and communicate their impact on local community members.
2. Maintain awareness and understanding of JRF programs on an ongoing basis.
3. Create communication messages for the Foundation’s principles and advocacy issues.
4. Follow up on the implementation of advocacy plans and activities.

Media Relations:
1. Identify, explore, and develop opportunities for positive media relations.
2. Liaise with key stakeholders, the media, and management team to provide information and advice on JRF initiatives.

Content Creation:
1. Prepare and manage social media content.
2. Conduct, manage, and evaluate awareness campaigns.
3. Develop the profile for the Foundation through relevant targeted publications and briefings.
4. Manage the Foundation's website to reflect initiatives, success stories, and events.
5. Support in implementing JRF annual report and newsletter.
6. Produce promotional publications and materials, including documentary films.

Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
