Job Title: Front Desk Data Entry Clerk

Job Description:

A Front Desk Data Entry Clerk is responsible for daily updating the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM reports) accurately in the system, including check-in/check-out, guest requests, and concierge services. They oversee front office activities between guests, the hotel, and various hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepares and completes DTCM reports by inputting and retrieving information through ONQ PMS with the CID Police Report System.
- Maintains files and equipment in an orderly and professional manner.
- Assists and supports the Telephone Operator (reliever) to answer calls originating from external and internal sources. Directs callers to appropriate extensions or rooms and appropriately documents all emergencies.
- Greets and registers guests, providing prompt and courteous service. Checks guests out of the hotel.
- Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including the number of guests and room rate.
- Knows departmental procedures and what to do in cases of emergency. Performs other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Duty Managers, and Guest Service Supervisors, and takes over any other tasks and special projects that arise in the course of business.
