Job Description

As the Spa Assistant Manager, your primary goal is to drive sustainable growth by analyzing business performance and fostering closer working relationships. You will align Spa & Wellness operational practices with hotel properties, business partners, guests, and team members. Your responsibilities include:

- Communicating with the team to identify areas for improvement and implementing a continuous improvement program.
- Ensuring all team members understand their responsibilities and job descriptions accurately.
- Submitting accurate and concise reports to Operations and relevant stakeholders.
- Providing a clear understanding of spa costs and expenses to the team.
- Conducting disciplinary actions when necessary and tracking violations of policies and procedures.
- Holding weekly meetings with team members to address revenue issues, sales techniques, teamwork, training needs, and other concerns.
- Organizing up-selling training programs, spa promotions, and event training.
- Monitoring retail displays and spa service displays to ensure maintenance and excitement.
- Planning and creating internal spa promotion packages in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Maintaining overall quality and standards strictly.
- Evaluating and guiding spa team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Reviewing spa team member performance and documenting concerns for the General Manager.
- Maintaining good communication with Hotel General Managers and Department heads.
- Adhering to the company's policies and procedures related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Reporting for duty punctually and wearing the correct uniform.
- Establishing good relationships with guests and team members.
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in work areas.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Five years of experience in a similar role in a multicultural team.
- Solid knowledge of spoken and written English.
- In-depth knowledge of wellness trends and programming, presentation skills, international experience, and capacity optimization techniques.
- Comfortable with flexible working hours.
- Experience in remote and luxury resort settings.
- Strong track record for revenue generation.
- Experience with Wellness and Aesthetic Spas.
- Innovative mindset.
- Strong skills in training team members.
