Position Title: Accountant

Salary: Up to 9K AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Description:
1. Financial Statements Review:
- Perform a detailed review of the yearly audited financial statements, make plans for alternative investment options, and document it appropriately for internal and external review.
2. Valuation Assistance:
- Provide assistance in the preparation of valuation materials and assist in monitoring valuation procedures.
3. General Ledger Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects related to general ledger accounting for all investments, interact with the investment accounting system, and collaborate with the portfolio manager.
4. Accounts Payable Management:
- Track accounts payable aging, update weekly schedules for payment facilities, send bill reminders, and contact clients. Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
5. Portfolio Management:
- Manage the company’s investment portfolio, record investment activities, analyze possible variances, and make necessary journal entries by interacting with portfolio managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or any related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the UAE.
- Background in automotive or group of companies.
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
- SAP or Oracle experience required.
- CPA/ACCA is a plus.
