About the Client:
A Dubai-based international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Analysis:
- Analyze revenue files, pivot tables, and check if significant invoices were collected by local offices.
2. Invoicing and Cross-Checking:
- Prepare invoices and cross-check vendor/port invoices.
- Ensure invoices are sent to the correct country and coordinate with local offices to investigate pricing discrepancies.
3. Accounting System Management:
- Close month in the accounting system, ensuring accurate debit/credit entries.
4. Monthly Reporting:
- Create monthly reports for customers, detailing loaded invoices.
5. Coordination and Review:
- Coordinate and review work with the customer services area.
- Provide reminders or suggestions for service improvements to front offices in local offices in West Africa counterpart.
Qualifications:
- Open to Asians and CIS nationals.
- Maximum 40 years old.
- Minimum of 4 years' solid experience in invoicing and/or shipping administration within an international environment.
- Must have Accounting and General Controller experience and mindset.
- Should be a multitasker, open-minded, outgoing, self-driven, and motivated.
