Position Title: HSE Coordinator

Employment Type: 1-year Contract (Renewable)

Salary: 12K AED (All-Inclusive), Depending on Experience and Qualifications

Job Description:

As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring health and safety practices are adhered to on site. Your key responsibilities include:

Site Coordination: Work closely with contractors and employees to coordinate site activities, promoting good health and safety practices on site.

HSE Representation: Act as the HSE representative on site and provide continuous feedback to the HSE Lead.

Safety Equipment Inspection: Conduct monthly and annual inspections of various safety equipment, including fire-fighting units (extinguishers, carts, trolleys), self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), and escape sets.

HSE Intervention: Support the development of HSE intervention programs aimed at enhancing safety practices on site.

Compliance: Ensure that HSE standards are applied in accordance with the Project HSE Design Criteria, covering the various project phases, including engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and mechanical completion.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree (Science/Engineering), preferably in Health, Safety, and Environment.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the HSE field with demonstrated HSE certifications and training.

Legislation Knowledge: Ability to acquire an understanding of legal matters and apply industry legislation and standards.

Communication Skills: Good communication skills to explain safety procedures and regulations clearly and concisely to people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Driving License: Must possess a valid UAE driving license.
