Job Description: Catering Sales Executive

Job Overview:
As an Event Planner at Pullman, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event execution by following established procedures, collaborating with other team members, and upholding the brand's commitment to excellence. This role involves supervising service, coordinating arrangements, maintaining billing accuracy, and enhancing the overall event experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Coordination:
- Ensure events progress seamlessly by following established procedures.
- Greet customers during the event phase and coordinate with the Event Operations team for execution.
- Supervise service and overall coordination of arrangements as per the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and customers throughout the event process.

2. Standards Adherence:
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct bill reviews with clients prior to processing the final bill.

3. Customer Interaction:
- Facilitate customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
- Lead formal pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
- Solicit feedback from property departments to identify areas for improvement.

4. Up-selling and Planning:
- "Up-sell" all department services, including food and beverage, amenities, room rental fees, and set-ups.
- Plan and organize events effectively with attention to detail and creativity.

Qualifications:

- Proven strong leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- Minimum 2 years of social event experiences in Qatar, with a similar capacity to 5-star hotels.
- Good communication and customer contact skills.
- Proven ability to plan and organize events effectively with a sense of detail and creativity.
- Understanding of computer applications with a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Opera preferred.
- Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
- A team player and builder.
