Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Supervisor
1. Supervising ambassadors in your section, ensuring attendance at work and maintaining a high quality of job performance.
2. Ensuring that work areas are left in a clean condition, with a particular focus on guest areas, after the completion of each job.
3. Regularly inspecting the function and safe operation of all equipment under your jurisdiction.
4. Controlling the consumption of materials by tradesmen in your section.
5. Conducting daily inspections in the Service Gallery for cold, hot, and return water supply.
6. Reporting deficiencies in equipment operation and defects within your area of responsibility to superiors.
7. Preparing requisitions for necessary materials for the job performance of your subordinates and controlling the issue and consumption of such materials.
8. Performing other duties outside the normal routine, as required, within the scope of the department.
9. Demonstrating effective leadership skills and motivation of subordinates.
10. Exhibiting good abilities in human resources management for your team.
11. Ensuring the punctual attendance at work of all ambassadors in your section.
12. Assisting in creating an efficient and professional team of engineering ambassadors.
13. Supervising closely all applicable safety rules in the workplace.
14. Being flexible and adapting to rotate within different sections of the Engineering Department.
15. Carrying out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Assistant/Director of Engineering.
