Job Description:

Position: Food & Beverage Server

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Report for duty punctually in correct uniform with name badge and palm pin.
2. Maintain and promote Sofitel operational excellence, adhering to set standards.
3. Ensure mise-en-place is complete and follow payroll and uniform procedures.
4. Gather and transport supplies needed for function setup, including silver, china, linen, etc.
5. Perform side duties and report any deviations from set standards and procedures.
6. Maintain cleanliness and safety of service and storage areas.
7. Help minimize waste, neglect, breakages, and mishandling of supplies and equipment.
8. Report complaints, incidents, or irregularities to management.
9. Implement work simplification and necessary changes.
10. Monitor product and service quality.
11. Attend meetings and training sessions as requested.
12. Assist and report to the Banquets Manager, carrying out requests as made by the Management.
13. Deliver high-standard Food and Beverage service in accordance with departmental standards.
14. Communicate difficulties, guest comments, and relevant information to superiors.
15. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
16. Maintain knowledge of all F&B services, outlets, hotel services/features, and hours of operations.
17. Handle cash effectively, efficiently, and with integrity following proper Accounting procedures.
18. Carry out other duties as assigned by Hotel Management.
19. Assist other Food & Beverage Outlets during peak times when needed.

Qualifications:

Personal Attributes:
- Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
- Well-presented and professionally groomed.
- Good communication and customer contact skills.
- Basic F&B product knowledge.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
- Secondary education.

Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience in food and beverage serving.
- Previous public contact experience.
