Position Title: Spa & Pool Attendant
Job Overview:
As a Spa & Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction in the spa and pool areas of the facility. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service to guests, assisting with spa treatments, maintaining pool equipment, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Provide courteous and attentive customer service to spa and pool guests, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and assist with any requests or concerns they may have.
2. Spa Assistance: Assist spa therapists with preparing treatment rooms, escorting guests to treatment areas, and ensuring that guests have a comfortable and relaxing experience during spa treatments.
3. Pool Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, including skimming the pool surface, vacuuming pool floors, and maintaining proper chemical levels in the water.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on pool equipment, including cleaning and backwashing filters, checking and adjusting pool chemical levels, and ensuring proper functioning of pool pumps and heaters.
5. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and pool rules to ensure the well-being of guests, including monitoring pool activities, preventing accidents, and responding to emergencies as needed.
6. Facility Cleanliness: Ensure that the spa and pool areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times, including tidying up lounging areas, restocking towels and amenities, and disposing of waste properly.
7. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels of spa and pool supplies, including towels, robes, toiletries, and cleaning products, and communicate any supply needs to management for replenishment.
8. Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling spa appointments, processing guest payments, and maintaining accurate records of spa treatments and pool usage.
9. Promotion and Upselling: Promote spa services, packages, and products to guests, provide information about available treatments, and upsell additional services or amenities to enhance the guest experience.
10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other spa staff, lifeguards, and facility personnel to coordinate activities, share information, and ensure smooth operations in the spa and pool areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or spa/pool operations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, or first aid may be required depending on the facility.
