Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing forklifts.
Education and/or completion of an apprenticeship program providing the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Possession of a trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
Proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairing, and overhauling components.
Valid driving license for manual light vehicles.
Responsibilities:

As a Technician at Al Futtaim Automotive | FAMCO, your role is essential in maintaining the operational efficiency of forklifts. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing mechanical and electrical repairs on forklifts.
Efficiently diagnosing faults and recommending effective solutions, with a focus on achieving a first-time resolution.
Proactively identifying potential root causes of problems and taking preventative action.
Utilizing tools and adhering to best practices outlined in service manuals.
Reading, comprehending, and implementing instructions from workshop manuals and service checklists.
Taking accountability for resolving complaints related to mechanical and electrical repairs.
Effectively utilizing online diagnostic tools to aid in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Skills:

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair forklifts effectively.
Skilled in fault diagnosis, capable of recommending efficient and accurate solutions, emphasizing first-time resolution.
A proactive approach to identifying potential issues and their root causes, ensuring preventative action.
Prioritizing safety in all repair and maintenance activities, following established safety protocols.
Effective communication with colleagues and customers to ensure clarity and understanding during repairs and issue resolution.
