Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a Workshop Planner to join our Toyota team in Fujairah. As a Workshop Planner, your primary responsibility will be to allocate technical jobs to technicians, ensuring alignment with their skillsets to optimize workshop utilization. Serving as a crucial link between the frontline and the workshop, you will play a key role in supporting timely job performance to ensure on-time vehicle delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate jobs to technicians based on the correct skillset required for the task.
- Monitor the technician planning board and Job Progress Control Board according to the monthly roster, escalating concerns to the workshop manager when necessary.
- Ensure fair distribution of jobs to meet technicians' utilization and efficiency targets.
- Uphold the Fix It Right (FIR) Process to achieve FIR targets.
- Ensure timely closure of allocated jobs as per the schedule.
- Monitor and enforce the time clocking process, escalating deviations as required.
- Provide regular updates on vehicle progress to Service Advisors to ensure on-time delivery.

Skills Required for Success:
- Experience in allocating jobs to technicians based on the required skill categories.
- 2 to 3 years of overall experience as a Workshop Controller or Workshop Planner in the automobile dealership sector.
- Ability to write technical reports.
- Strong communication skills.

Qualifications:
- Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
- Diagnostic Technician or Equivalent.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Possession of a UAE driving license will be an advantage.
