Job Title: Emarati National - Retail Sales & Customer Service | Retail | IKEA Dubai

Overview of the Role:
Optimize the IKEA shopping experience in your shop to secure satisfied customers and increase sales. Maximize sales in your area of responsibility using knowledge of your particular product range, your top sellers, 3 Aces, and 1 King, and the local market and customers. You use IKEA tools and the experience and expertise of your colleagues. Contribute to fulfilling the four tasks of the IKEA store:

1. Act as a highly efficient and staffed sales mechanism.
2. Show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas.
3. Serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist.
4. Provide a day out for the whole family.

What You Will Do:

- Actively approach customers who require additional help, identify their needs, and advise them on the best solutions for their homes to exceed their expectations.
- Understand how to use different IKEA sales and communication channels for different customer interactions.
- Keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times.
- Convey passion about IKEA products, actively learn about their features and benefits, and share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
- Understand store and department action plans, taking responsibility for department goals and contributing accordingly.
- Actively offer all services available in the IKEA store to help customers make informed choices for a better shopping experience.
- Lead and/or support the implementation of planned commercial activities involving your department throughout the store.
- Maximize sales while maintaining profitability by steering towards top-selling and prioritized products.
- Analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.

Skills Required:

1. The right attitude and behavior to actively sell and help customers.
2. Understanding of customer behavior.
3. Understanding and active use of the Selling the IKEA way manual.
4. Knowledge of the IKEA product range, including service products.
5. Basic range presentation know-how.
6. Sales steering.
7. Sales location management/sales space capacity.
8. Computer literacy.
