Job Description

Position: Housekeeping Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:

Position Summary:
As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department. Your responsibilities include:

- Running sold room reports, verifying room status, identifying any discrepancies, and prioritizing room cleaning accordingly.
- Assisting housekeeping management in overseeing daily activities, coordinating efforts among housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry teams.
- Acting as a liaison to resolve issues with discrepant rooms in coordination with the front desk, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Preparing and distributing room assignments to housekeeping staff, monitoring and updating the list of "Do Not Disturb" rooms.
- Ensuring timely cleaning of vacant dirty rooms and assigning rush rooms while adhering to company standards.
- Completing required housekeeping paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Following all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing necessary safety training.
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards, and protecting company assets.
- Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, addressing guest service needs promptly and with genuine appreciation.
- Upholding adherence to quality expectations and standards, fostering positive working relationships, and supporting team goals.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with others, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately.
- Utilizing computer systems to enter and locate work-related information efficiently.
- Performing physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Fulfilling any other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
